Macro Backdrop and Analyst ETH Price Prediction
CoinEx Chief Analyst Jeff Ko said bitcoin is likely to stay range-bound. He highlighted three stabilizing factors:
- Oil pulled back from highs after another pause in the US-Iran conflict
- 10-year Treasury yields near 4.7%, doing part of the Fed’s tightening work
- The Fed remains flexible ahead of Q2 PCE and GDP data
Ko called corporate earnings the key factor this week–Apple, Microsoft, Meta, and Amazon report results. Their free cash flow and AI spending guidance could affect Treasury yields and Nasdaq, indirectly influencing crypto flows. He stressed that ETF flow structure will be as important as headline numbers.

Ethereum Staking Hits Record — No One Wants to Withdraw
The ETH staking withdrawal queue is completely empty–validators can exit immediately. That contrasts with Q3 2025, when withdrawal wait times reached 45 days and about 2.6 million ETH were waiting. Now, more than 2.5 million ETH are waiting to enter staking, with activation delays around 44 days. Investors are willing to wait a month and a half to start earning rewards.

Nearly 41 million ETH are now staked–33.6% of total supply, a record. One in three ETH is now staked, not on exchanges or in active circulation. Despite staking yield falling from 3.05% to 2.62% and issuance rising from 0.757% to 0.842%, staking interest remains high.
