CoinGecko is introducing market analytics tools for users and a unified partner platform for Web3 projects. The update marks CoinGecko’s evolution from a simple price tracker into a contextual analytics platform and infrastructure for crypto project growth.

Today, CoinGecko tracks over 36 million tokens across hundreds of blockchains. The company serves more than 30 million monthly visitors, with GeckoTerminal reaching millions of additional users.

AI Insights and Advanced Charts

The new Market Insights feature aggregates signals from news and social medias. It then uses AI-generated summaries to explain the drivers behind price movements for individual coins, categories, and the market as a whole.

The Advanced Charts feature allows users to compare price movements of multiple cryptocurrencies in a single window. Users can share and download charts. Previously, similar capabilities were only available in expensive terminals and niche analytics platforms.

“Better data leads to better decisions, but today, data alone isn’t enough. Context is the missing layer, and that’s what we’re building,” said Bobby Ong, co-founder and CEO of CoinGecko.

In the coming months, CoinGecko will add the ability to compare token market capitalizations.

A Smarter Way to Manage Your Portfolio

The Portfolio Insights feature consolidates wallet tracking across EVM-compatible networks. Users can connect multiple wallets via public addresses, track assets across different portfolios, and see key metrics such as profit and loss (P&L) and average purchase price.

AI-generated summaries explain what is driving portfolio changes. Multi-chain support is expected in the coming months. The service remains read-only and non-custodial—users retain full control over their funds.

Partner Platform — a Helping Hand for Crypto Projects

For projects, CoinGecko launched a unified partner platform. It combines:

  • Management of listings
  • Advertising campaigns
  • Performance tracking across both CoinGecko and GeckoTerminal

Projects can apply for listings, update token information, and use tools like Fast Pass to accelerate publication.

CoinGecko’s Ong stated:

“In a market environment defined by noise, crypto projects that earn trust win. CoinGecko has always been that trusted layer for investors. Now we are extending the same infrastructure to projects and partners building the ecosystem.”

If the platform successfully implements AI analytics and multi-chain portfolios, it could strengthen its position as a primary data source for retail investors. Key competitors, including CoinMarketCap, will likely respond with similar updates in the coming quarters.
