Bitdeer Overtakes MARA in Mining Power, Becoming Top Public Miner

Bitdeer has taken first place among public mining companies.

The mining firm increased its hashrate to 69.5 EH/s, showing 504% growth year-over-year.

As of April 2026, Bitdeer’s total managed hashrate, including owned equipment and hosting, reached 78.1 EH/s. By comparison, MARA stands at 66.4 EH/s and CleanSpark at 47.3 EH/s.

In March, the company mined 661 Bitcoin (BTC), up 480% from the same period last year. Bitdeer operates approximately 262,000 mining units, of which 225,000 are owned. Its global power capacity, including projects under development, totals 3 GW.

Growth Strategy

Bitdeer is actively ramping up production of its own ASIC miners. The flagship SEALMINER A4 series, with energy efficiency around 9.45 J/TH, is already on sale. The company also introduced the SEALMINER DL1 Air model for mining Litecoin and Dogecoin on the Scrypt algorithm.

In parallel, Bitdeer is expanding its artificial intelligence business. AI Cloud utilization rose from 64% to 94%. Revenue from this segment increased 105% month-over-month to approximately $43 million.

Other Major Miners’ Positions

CleanSpark mined 658 BTC$62,996.00 in March and brought its operational hashrate to 50 EH/s. The company continues expanding into AI and high-performance computing.

Canaan mined 89 BTC. Its crypto reserves reached record highs of 1,808 BTC and 3,952 ETH$1,699.44. Its deployed hashrate stands at 10.97 EH/s.

Bitcoin Sales by Miners

Amid challenging market conditions, major miners continue selling mined bitcoin. According to CryptoQuant, their aggregate balances have declined from 1.862 million to 1.801 million BTC since the start of the current cycle. MARA Holdings recorded the largest volume sold at 13,210 BTC.
