Binance Ecosystem Expansion
The launch of prediction markets within the Binance Wallet expands user capabilities. It allows users to trade on real-world event outcomes (politics, sports, economics, etc.) without leaving the exchange’s ecosystem.
Binance previously tested this feature in beta mode. It is now becoming part of the wallet’s core functionality. This underscores the company’s strategy to integrate new DeFi tools and improve convenience for retail users.
Binance Maintains Crypto Derivatives Leadership
In the first quarter of 2026, Binance strengthened its position as the leading crypto exchange by trading volume. According to CryptoQuant data, the platform captured 32% of the spot market and 40% of the perpetual futures market.
Total perpetual trading volume across all centralized exchanges reached $3.5 trillion. Binance handled $1.4 trillion of that volume — significantly more than its closest competitor, OKX, at $0.7 trillion.
Even amid an overall decline in CEX activity (down 48% from the October 2025 peak), users continue to concentrate trading on Binance due to high liquidity and order execution quality.
